Good Food thought the prices of the burgers are a little high!
I had been looking forward to giving this place a try. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good but not something to really rave about. My wife ordered a medium burger and it was more on the well done side. I ordered my vegan burger and it was "okay". For the vegan burger they use the Impossible brand and I am more of a Beyond Meat person since I really think that one typically turns out less dry. Another small complaint is we never received popcorn before or after ordering yet everyone else around us did... Odd but okay no big deal. I also think it is a bit weird that they have no beer on draft. Sweet potatoe fries were good! We will probably give the place another try since everyone enjoyed their food.
Nice friendly atmosphere. Great burgers and fries. Specials look good. Next will be the fish fry since it looked fabulous. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
BY FAR the best steak nachos I have ever had!!!! No beer on tap, but honestly who the hell cares? They have a great selection of normal domestic and craft beers in cans and bottles. Had a Haymarket Defender and it went well with the nachos. Humongous serving size which my wife and I couldn't finish. Can't wait to try a burger! Highly recommend!
Good food. Good environment. The gaming area is nicely separated from the restaurant/bar area, keeping the small pub aesthetic! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The service was quick. The bathrooms were clean.
Delicious burgers and chill vibe. Long Islands were on $5 special and were made well, surprisingly not watered down. Crab cake app is amazing. The Hawaiian Burger was incredible as well. Bring your appetite because the burgers are huge!
Everything was Awesome. My Bacon and Chicken sandwich along with the sweet potatoe fries were extra delicious. Will be back to try some more items real soon. Place is decorated excellent also. Loved it all❤
The food was very good. Great maitais
Went to Cattleman's today for the first time. I must say I was impressed hands down all around. The food is amazing, with amazing presentation. The staff was friendly and helpful even doing a tailored meal for my girlfriend who has a stricked diet. I loved the look of the place too, very old west with a modern twist. BRAVO
First time there, won't be the last. We had a burger, chicken sandwich, mai tai, white wine sangria and a funnel cake. It was all so good! There are many more menu items that we want to try. Can't wait to go back.
Love the location. Love the atmosphere. More importantly, love the people. The owner stoppped by the table and talked for a bit. The owner's wife(?) stopped by and jokes with me and helped clear the table, and the food....the food was AWESOME! We will be back, and we will spread the word that this is a top-notch Burber and Brew place.
Quite possibly the best burger I've ever had in my entire life, and I've had a LOT of burgers. The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection. The buns weren't too soft but weren't too tough. There wasn't a ton of toppings but also not too few. Everything about it was perfect. On top of all of that, service was relatively fast, especially since I went with a group of 4. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and a good price. Great place for every type of person, whether you're a family with little kids or a group of adults looking for a great place to drink and have a good meal, this place is perfect.
Great experience! Clean, excellent burgers, wonderful bartender/waitress. Great Mai Tai and margaritas. Thanks you.
We randomly tried this restaurant a few weeks ago and LOVED it! Monica was great as well as the entire staff that night. The second time, we asked for Monica but she was not there. We ended up meeting the host, Sabrina, who was AWESOME! She was super personable, answered all our questions about the menu and made us feel super comfortable during our whole dining experience! We have been back three times since, because of Sabrina! We even tried out the bloody Mary bar on Sunday because she suggested it! We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed, fun atmosphere! Thank you so much for the laughs, great drinks and amazing food!Hillary
This is a great place to eat and have a brew. It has a great history and staff as well. If you like the rustic look this is surely the place to go. With silent videos playing on both sides of the dining area, it's a pretty cool entertainment. They also have sports playing on multiple tvs as well. I ordered the cod fish fry which was pretty good. I saw their burgers and they were huge and looked delicious. I can't wait to try the rest of the food! Also i was able to meet the two fellow carpenters who put the place together. I really liked the bar top which came from an old train that had about a million miles on it. If you like history this is a cool place to go and ask about. 👍
Good food and incredible service. Lexi was easily the most entertaining server I’ve had at ANY restaurant. She made the visit a memorable experience. Everyone liked the burgers and loved the garlic bread. If I had to pick a negative, it’s that the “pickles” are straight up cucumbers.
I took my Dad to Cattleman's for lunch today for his birthday. We have known Tony Bellino for years and I actually remember going to the original Cattleman's as a kid. The experience did not disappoint. The food was excellent. My Dad and I had the meatloaf and my son had the lobster mac and cheese. Needless to say, we all left extremely full! Also great job on rehabbing that old building. It looks great. Great Job Tony we will definitely be back!
I was so glad to see this restaurant open up in downtown Algonquin after being gone for so many years from the area. I can’t wait to get back! Love the burgers and salads.
Cozy little place with bar and booth and table seating. Been here twice, both times service was friendly and attentive. Met the owner both times, as he stopped by our table to say hello. He seems like a genuinely friendly, nice fellow, and this must be why his employees seem to enjoy working there. Try the poutine for an appetizer, then enjoy a burger!
Oh no! We had such a nice time at your place saturday evening with another couple for appetizers, however, when we looked at our bank account today we were charged 4 times! There is no way to reach your resturant by phone. Please advise! The food was good but we need 3 of those charges deleted
Awesome food. Great service. Joey made us feel like family! Sunday pot roast special will melt in your mouth. Lobster Mac and cheese will revival the best you think you've had. And the Main St burger is simple yet delicious. Ask Joey for his frappuccino dessert. It's delicious!
My wife and I visited on Saturday night. Sat at bar, as tables were full. Burger ordered medium, came out well done. By the time I was almost finished, the bartender asked how everything is. I told her I ordered my burger medium , and it was well. She asked if she could get me a different one and I declined the offer. Paid the bill and left. No one thanked us for coming in or anything. I will probably not go back anytime soon. $43 plus $8 tip is too much for 2 overcooked burgers.
We love the laid back and family friendly vibes at Cattleman's. The food is fantastic. Service is super friendly, but a little slow. So happy we've got a great local place to walk to.
Good food and friendly staff. $2 tacos on Tuesdays. Really liked the chicken tinga tacos.
